Prof. Jin Huang

Jin Huang, Associate Professor at School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, Awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Research fields: Intelligent Vehicle design, Digital vehicle safety, Software defined vehicle technology. Currently, he is the deputy director of the Institute of Automotive Engineering, School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, Committee of the Data Management and Application Promotion Branch of China Electronics Industry Standardization Technology Association, and deputy director of the Youth Committee of Society of Automotive Engineers. He has served as guest editor of international journals twice, vice president of international conferences once, member of SAE ITS Technical Committee, member of AAAI and other 7 international conferences. He has been approved to preside over 10 key projects. He has published more than 50 SCI/EI papers, 3 books, and authorized more than 40 invention patents and 10 software copyrights.

Standards and Certification for automotive semiconductors

The huge impact of the lack of semiconductors in the automotive industry has aroused the international community’s full attention to the automotive semiconductors.

The automotive semiconductors have very high requirements for reliability and other performance due to safety issues, and its standards and certification has a profound effect on the healthy development of the industry. The international standards of automotive semiconductors are rather systematic, but it also faces some conflicts with the new demands of intelligent new-energy vehicles. The Standards for automotive semiconductors in China are under development. Based on the new demand characteristics of intelligent new-energy vehicles, this presentation introduces the standards and regulations for testing and certification of automotive semiconductors in China.
